System Components
Along with our control systems, there are three major components to our system optimization
- Motorized Autogates
- Sensors
- Variable Frequency Dries
Motorized Autogates:
Gates are opened and closed by a 24 DC Motor with limit switches in the end positions. This electrical drive arrangement is more energy efficient than traditional pneumatically operated gates because they do not consume energy in the opened and closed position. All gates are provided with Quickfit Connections to allow ease of installation and maintenance.

- 24 DC Motors with magnetic limit switches to prevent malfunctions caused by dust accumulations
- Dunken DC Motors with high torque gearbox provide extended service life for Autogate drive assembly. Dunken Motoren is an Alcatel company with worldwide acclaim for durability and performance excellence.

New rubber seals - Cost effective when compared to pneumatic gates; No power consumption in open/close position and no compressed air required.
- New rubber seal on gate blocks dust build up inside assembly.
- An "LED" light indicator on the gate shows green while opening and red while closing.

Dunken DC Motor
Smart Sensors
The Smart Sensor detects a magnetic field created by current in a wire, motor or transformer. When the magnetic field is present, a contact closes signaling the controller that the workstation is in use and the system will open Autogate on the Workstation.

Proper Installation:The best place to install Smart sensor is the power wiring of the motor that is driving a cutting tool, grinding wheel, etc.

Variable Frequency Drive

In addition to its main function - regulating the speed and power of the fan - additional features include: electronic thermal motor overload and energy savings operation. An S-curve pattern is used to reduce power peak, motor shock, and provide smooth transitions during fan acceleration and deceleration (controlled ramp for start and stop). On the front panel of the VFD unit there is a "MANUAL" switch, for override automatic function of the system and "CENTRAL STOP".
